I'm Back

Well it's been a while, and I still don't have much to write about. So I'm just going to type and let what comes out come out. I really wish that I could make people's problems go away. I really wish that I was a "Q" from Star Trek, that I could snap my fingers and things would be different. If everything could changed like that I would be God and that would wrong. I would make a lousy God. I would make people feel better but also people would be dieing off left and right. I'm glad I'm not God. And that's all I got. Ok see ya later!

I's a tired boy

Hey people! I am actually posting from bed! Cool right? Well I was up far to late last night, so I am tired! The ZTA service project really went well yesterday, even the uncreative people *raises hand* got to do something worthwhile. I really enjoyed seeing all my friends yesterday and I really missed all the ones that couldn't make it so I am really looking forward to Thursday when (God willing) I will be able to see all of them. Ok I think I've talked, or typed, long enough, I'll see ya later!

So I am just finishing up a road rally with my family and one of Olivia's friends. Our determination on this one, the clues were to hard and we're lame! Ah well at least we got to laugh about it. I feel like my brain is trickling out my right ear. Ah well, I'll see ya later.

I'm in my dad's office today so this will be a long post. I am listening to the newest preview of Spirit Blade: Dark Ritual, it is one of the more interesting scenes. They claim it's one of the creapier scenes but I don't see it. I'll be sure to let you all know when this project is fully released and I will also let you know what I think of it when I get my mits on it. I'll see ya later.

Hey folks! For the benefit of those that don't already know, LIFE IS CRAZY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *pulling out hair* This is why I have not been posting as frequently as I should. Ok so I finished reading and watching the Da Vinci Code. If you are ever thinking about seeing the movie, read the book first, I implore you! You will be completely lost if you try and watch the movie without reading the book. It is a great mystery and as I have said it is FINE to read it just so long as you take it as fiction. Even though he claims at the begining of the book that all his facts and depictions of documents are true, if you ask any historian they will tell you flat out that most of his claims are just plain false. Now on to other matters, incase people didn't know, I have been watching others get sick and get better, some worse then others. I really hope that I don't get sick. Scholl has been going well I'm getting pretty good grades all around this year and am quite pleased with them. Is there anything else? I don't think so! So... Well I know I say this on almost every post but I'll say it again, I am going to try and post more often on this blog, but that is pretty dependent on how much time I have in a day around the rest of the stuff I have to do. Well it's late so I will keep this short. I am listening to The Da Vinci Code as I write. It's a great book but I would only recomend it to those that have a strong faith and can take it as fiction. I'll try and write about it again later, and I will see you later!

Well I just got home from vacation where we had a bunch of fun, went to places we haven't gone in years, and the dog sprained his tail. This is just a short list of the things we did. Coming up I have the Cedar point trip on Monday, and then I am starting school and my classes at Schoolcraft the first week of September. All in all a very busy time. I'll try to write again soon, and I'll see ya later.

So what's new? I don't know. But what I do know is that I have been trying to clean up what podcasts I have been listening to, I am still listening to "Morevi Remastered" (http://www.teemorris.com/morevipodcast/) "Chasing the Bard" (http://www.chasingthebard.com/)and a few others. But I did dump all of the podcasts that used strong language to much. It was hurting me more then it was worth. But now that that's done I hope you all have a nice day and I'll see ya later!

Wow it's been a while. Sorry about that chief! So what's been happening, well the iPhone 3G has been released since I last wrote on here (yeah it's been that long). So what else, I've been accepted and enrolled in Schoolcraft College but you all know that too. I will try to remember to write more often here but right now I am drawing a huge blank so I'll see ya later!

Well people I'm back and I will have to do a longer post on the festival later but as for now I am way to tired. Just wanted to let you all know I got home safely and had a bunch of fun.

Well here we are again. I am mostly sitting around doing nothing listening to music, (Tears of the Saints by Leeland) and waiting for my dad to be ready to stack the wood that we got this morning before I got up. After we get the wood stacked we are going up to Mackinaw City for the day so if I can I will blog from there but I'm not sure if I will be able to find a hot spot so I might have to wait until I get back to the house. Well my dad is here now so I have to go and help, so I'll see ya later!

We didn't end up going to the pines today but I did just get to light our cooking fire which makes me happy. We are thinking that we might be going to the Straights tomorrow. That would be fun. Well here I am watching the Tigers and generally being bored. This morning we went to church and we are looking to go walking at Hartwick Pines this afternoon. Wow I haven't posted in a while! The really only big thing to report is that we switched to Comcast today. That is fun! As if our internet wasn't fast enough, now it's blazing fast! Ok people I'm finally back, and I hurt. I was at Winter Jam in Lansing last night and now I sore just about every where. The bands that performed where (in no particular order) Skillet, Group 1 Crew, BarrlowGirl, Pure NRG, MercyMe, Mandisa, and Newsong. But for most of you this is old news, in the new stuff, Phillip is up for promotion board again, and I am really excited about Choo's party of Friday. As some of you might have know my family and are going to the DIA today so I will probably write about that later with some funny stories.

Hello everyone. Today I'm writing about a site called New Release Tuesday. A must for anyone that loves Christian music. It is my primary source of news when it comes to music. As some of you might have known I have been listening to their podcast for a few months now (you all should try it) but I also recently became a member of the NRTeam. This is a team of Christian people that love music who provide reviews for new Christian books and music that is hitting the shelves. I am really looking forward to helping in that. As an NRTeam member you can listen to an entire new album each week for free. I like being able to do this in order to find out if I want to buy the album later. But there are some downsides to the site. For one the album preview I think could be made better by allowing you to skip certain tracks if you don't like them, as it is right now it is all one big stream, but it is still free music so it's all good in that respect. There are some other things in the site that could be fixed but, they're not killers and these people aren't perfect so I understand. I would say check this one out for sure. The project that I referenced in my last post came off without a hitch, the program now runs perfectly. Also Philip and my dad are heading up north as I write, (Freedom!) they are spending the weekend up there. There really isn't much else so until next time.

Well today I have been spending a lot time on a website called Rapidshare downloading files that will be kept secret. I have also been working on other projects that will also remain anonymous. I have been out of it for the past month or so but that is clearing now, thanks for your help people.

Well I finally finished it. I had my last drive at 8AM this morning. I now have my certificate and am waiting on my parents to go to get my permit. Also I am working on several project that might impact people lives and I think they enjoy it, if it ever makes it out.

Well another day in the life of the Iman. Another day gone. My drive did not go well, but that doesn't matter. I didn't finish school until late, but that doesn't matter. I feel like crap, but that doesn't matter. What matters is that I am pressing with all I am to be helpful to the people I love. What matters is that He still thinks that I am worth it even when I don't. What matters is that no matter how dark it gets I will always try to hang on. This is life.

Well today I still have some school work to do, and I am also going driving today. This is drive 4, main roads and highways, next drive is freeways. I am not sure whether I am looking forward to these drives or not. I am not feeling well today. I'll just have to push through and get it done.

As most of you know, I had my first drive last night. I did better then I thought I was going to, but I still have room for improvement. I was having trouble judging where to start slowing down for stop signs and turns but I got better as the night went on. They also had the whole road test laid out, and I didn't hit any cones while running through that one. So it turned out pretty well over all.

I took my first Drivers Ed class today. It wasn't as nerve wracking as I thought it would be. I was kind of surprised to hear that some of the class will begin their behind the wheel on Wednesday. But oh well it is all going well so far. I am taking the afternoon class which works out well because I can get my school done before I go and it won't interfere with my evening activities. I am looking forward to going back tomorrow, because that is the day that we are actually going to start learning what we need to know for the test. Expect me to write on this one often.

Now all you people, I said that if it was worth it I would write a review of that audio drama. This is an Christian audio drama, and I highly recommend this it. If you have a friend or family member that loves Sci-Fi that is not saved (or even if they are) it is a great tool for ministering to people, and is just plain fun for a Christian to listen to. This makes a great gift. Now here is the trailer for it. I am going to not try not give to many spoilers away but I will give you some of the lyrics from it. So far today has been pretty run of the mill. No serious injuries or hospitalizations among the sibs. So I think tonight will be interesting. Alright people, here is the reveal on the project I talked about earlier. There is away that people have been hacking Mac OS X and making it run on PC hardware. I have been playing with it but I have given up. Please don't try it, because Mac OS X isn't open source so this is quite illegal.

Well folks Olivia is very happy today, she got called back for another call back, this time with a lot less people then the first time. She is really hoping now that she gets a lead, and it looks even more promising then before. I am working on a top secret project I will let you know how that one turns out, it should be done before the day is out. That's it for now. Bye!

Well today has been a pretty typical day in the life of the Iman. With some notable exceptions. Last night my sister auditioned for the Ever After Productions play of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, and she got an email today inviting her to a call back this evening. This means that she will probably get a lead in the show, that I have mixed feelings about. I mean I'm happy for her and all but I was hoping that she wouldn't get cast, because rehearsals are generally on Thursday nights. But oh well, if she does get it she will be very happy. In other news today I got a call from the school that will be hosting my drivers ed program, it is not known at this point whether I am going to be taking it in Jan. or if I'll have to wait until Mar. either way I'll be fine.
